Went to the hospital today
Pardon me while I snigger - I have done the same thing so many times.
Look on the bright side - you could've been a week late!

Hahaha...I've done it, got the right date and the right time but the wrong hospital d'oh !
Can't snigger, my physio appointment was for 1pm today, I thought it was for 2pm. Only noticed when I picked up the appointment card at 12.50. Phoned hospital - no I can't go now, but after pleading, they will see me at 3pm. YUKK I will get stuck in school traffic driving there and work traffic coming back home. I suppose it is my own daft fault (no comments thank you)
It seems the 2.pm appointment is NEXT week - hope I don't forget that. Oh dear I need a memory transplant.
I am spending so much time at hospitals and clinics lately Its no wonder I am getting confused
Hi all
I have no reason to laugh but it does make me laugh. I have a calendar on the kitchen wall
a calendar on the iPad which is connected to the phone and computer and still we went to the wrong hospital on the wrong day.
It definitely made me realise that I have to read the messages that keep popping up on the phone etc. and not to think 'yeah I know" an not read them.
Take care and kindest regards
Terry
I've started phoning to check with GP/Hospital etc to find out when my appointments are cos for the life of me I keep forgetting to write down the date & time or if I do write it down I forget where I wrote it!
I have a very large desk diary - large because I won't lose it like I do with the pocket size. I write everything in there, so I know where it all is, and keep a shopping list pad folded in the back page as well.
This system has helped more than I can say, but i still occasionally make an embarrassing boo-boo - like the time I went to order a taxi and gave my previous address - in Scotland!
The taxi office said "We don't go that far, madam!" not surprising as I'm now in Southampton. was my face red - I didn't have to turn the heating on all night!
