Yes unfortunately I often feel as though the pain is deep in my bones. I was found to have a vit D deficeincy though so may be a good idea to get that checked out?

Hello Cardiff, I am sorry to hear you are in so much pain.

If you look at the info on our main site at FibroAction, please click on the link below, it will explain all about having Fibro, it's symptoms and treatments etc -

fibroaction.org/Pages/About...

I hope you find this information helpful, it will explain to you about our pain and how widespread it can be, tender points etc.

Have you spoken recently to your GP about how you are feeling, you may be Vitamin D deficient and this is worth checking out.

I was found to be Vit D deficient and those who have taken the prescribed amount have told me they felt much better - I do too. Although I cannot say its all the Vit Ds help, as I am lucky enough to have a new puppy and improved working conditions, but my hips are less painful. After two years thats fantastic and I just hope it continues.

So do ask for that blood test as it won't do any harm but may make you feel better.

I hope you find a solution soon.

All the best.

I currently take a vit d supplement which I was advised to do before I was diagnosed. It has done nothing for the pain (which I also feel bone deep). However it has helped my SAD tonnes so I kept taking it.

Hope you find answers soon.

My life was unbearable with deep bone pain for the last 3 years, by chance rheumy tested my vitamin D levels & they were very low ..I have been taking vitamin D since last June & I noticed around september the deep aching was going ! I couldnt stand my little dog to sit on my knee it hurt so much. I understand completely what you mean when you say 'bone pain' it's worth a try you have nothing to lose & a lot to gain ! give the vitamin a go Oh I also noticed my mood has been getting better ! ..very gentle hugs
