hi i take tramodol 2 tabs 3 times a day then a slow release one at night, is it the slow release type you are on ? . i do not get any shaking and trembling but i have been on them for quite a long time,

Maybe they don't agree with you Elsie ? i would have a word with a pharmacist as they are the medicine experts

take care xx

I am on them but not for fibro. I am supposed to take 2 three times a day, but if I even take two at once I feel as though my skin is crawling and I itch like crazy. So I only take morning and night and the itching is reduced a lot. If my daughter takes them she reacts the same as you do and vomits with them too. I thinkt hey effect people in different ways. I hope it eases off for you soon xxxxxx

HI honey i take trammadol and occasionally get the shakes but it's rare mainly if i'm on them a lot. Strange thing tho because years ago i couldn't tolerate them at all i would shake feel sick and kinda dizzy drunk but now i'm ok for now and fingers crossed it satays that was seeing as it's the only painkillers i can take apart from paracetamol. My mum blacks out on them so they truly do have varied effects on people.

Like Irisjoy say's i would talk to a pharmacist or go see your doctor.

Hope you get relief soon xxx

Hello Elsie, I am sorry to hear you are having these side effects from taking Tramadol. Unfortunately shaking and palpitations aren't that uncommon when taking this medication.

There is some info on Tramadol and possible side effects if you click on the link below -

If you have any concerns about these side effects please have a word with your GP about this and hopefully they will reassure you or possibly prescribe an alternative medication for you. It's always advisable to check when we experience these sort of side effects just to be on the safe side.

I hope this helps and you get some reassurance soon.

(((hug))) xxx
