Quick question re DLA medical.

I had my medical at home just before Christmas,at what point do I ring and ask for a copy of the report?do I need to wait until I have heard from them?..xx

You have to wait until you hear from them, and chances are if you are successful they would not send the medical report as it would not be needed. If however you are unsuccessful(I hope not) then you ask then for it after you have heard from them, but I think first you have to ask them to reconsider your case. I could be wrong, but I think I am right. xxxxx

I was refused first time so I appealed whenI rang up I asked for the doctors report from dla and my gp . When I received these report which came quickly I did my appeal and I picked up on the things that the dla doctor had but that I had not said or she had twisted which they do . Go thought the medical report thoroughly and make marks against things you do not agree with then on you appeal letter do them as individual paragraphs with heading. Make sure you tell them what you disagree with and what you actually said to the doctor I had a panic attack whilst she was at my house and she completely ignored it. I eventually was awarded middle rate care but I am now fighting the mobility part as they completely ignore this part. Good luck to you and I hope you get what you deserve they do not like giving it away. I went to see my advisor at the job enter as I am worke related ESA and he said "you must be a little fighter as they are they do not like giving it out " He told me not to give up as I was half way there with my appeals . For a job centre advisor he has been brilliant instead of me going to him in the next town he rings me and has a chat on the phone so I do not have to do the awful bus ride to see him.
