Hello Abu, any tingling or numbness should be checked out by your GP to rule out other conditions or illnesses and also to ensure you get the appropriate treatment.
Please see your GP as soon as possible and let us know how you get on.
Take care.

I have this in the finger s of my left hand as well as feeling cold.by the way ,has anyone heard of DERCUM'S Disease?
Hello there Anbuma
There is very little information about Dercum's Disease on the internet, certainly not on the medical sites we tend to rely on here at FibroAction. From what I can gather it is a rare disease where a person can develop multiple lumps all over their bodies which cause pressure resulting in significant pain. As a result life can be very difficult. Apparently the lumps can be removed by surgery, but this is reported to be a short term fix. Strong painkillers are normally prescribed.

(Info taken from a newspaper article on a gentleman reported to be suffering from Dercum's Disease. As this article has not been verified by a medical professional I am not 100% sure of the facts stated, please bear this in mind when reading the article)
I do get numbness in my hand but I also have little 'lumps' on my arms and elbows. They disappear them re-emerge in other places - but always on my hands and arms. I've also developed a type of bony growth on the knuckle of my thumb!!
I suffer regularly with numbness in my arms, hands and fingers especially at night and when asleep. At present I'm being tested for MS having MRI scans on brain to rule it out. So many horrible side effects with fibro!
Hi Will keep this short , I to suffer the same I was very worried when it first happened to me as I have a bad hart as well as other things. My left arm I have a lot of problem with every night and when I am driving for a long time or on the computer key board too long I have a lot of pins and needles in both hands and my fingers go cold. The only thing I can do is shake my arm or hands until they come back to some normality.
Hello Abu,
I was diagnosed with dercum's disease in around 2005. Apart from the pain I had from some lumps, I also started with loss of feeling in my little fingers on both arms and at night constantly woke with my arms feeling dead and numb similar to yourself.
I had to pay BUPA £700 just to get some diagnosis because all previous doctors and specialists said it was Just one of those things and that I was "unlucky to have numerous lipomas , the pain was in my head and I was too emotional". Following my consultation with BUPA I finally got my diagnosis of Dercums a year after they first appeared following a biopsy.
They found that the small multiple lumps in both forarms were pressing on the Ulna nerve which was causing the loss of feeling in my hands. I then had surgery to remove the main ones. Apparently a "delicate operation" so as not to damage nerves. Since then the lumps have grown back (which they are prone to do) and again I have numbness. I am considering whether to go through the procedure again.
This however is not my main concern at the moment as I am waiting to find out this week whether the large fixed lump on my shoulder/arm is a dercum lump,( Unlikely) or a liposarcoma.
I hope you have better luck with your future treatment than I have experienced. Unfortunately in the UK Dercums disease and similar conditions appear to be avoided by most doctors, probably because of their ignorance to the nature of these conditions.
good luck
