There I was endeavouring to make my short bobed hair look reasonable you know give it some body and shape when my upper middle back decided different. I have a section of osteoporosis and it must have nipped nerves I was creased up for rest of day. It is still hot and tweaky and making all my other points more aggressive. IAt the moment I was totally incapacitated pains going around both sides of my ribs ---------phoo------ Right that is out of my system. I read the blog on Oxycontin with interest I am on areally healthy dose every day it is what keeps me going I knew it was very addictive but anything that makes life liveable is where I am at . I shall see if the specialist has any suggestions when I see him on the twelth. The twelth day of Christmas my rheumy said to me............................

Awww gins I had my hair in a shortish bob easy to manage..... Not .. I gave up 12 weeks ago and had the mobile hairdresser give me a short layered sort of pixie cut amazed it came out so well and suited me. Takes me 5 mins to dry, I can dry it if I feel able with hair dryer but I can also put a bit of mouse in and run my fingers through and leave it to dry
I do feel for you as I have not been able to wash, dry or straighten my hair in over a year. I have tried many hair cuts but not had the nerve yet to go too short. Maybe now you will give me the confidence to do it.
I gave up on a hairdryer years ago, I couldn't hold it as my left arm has been bad for years. My hair has a will of its own and I was worried that it would stick out at funny angles now its short but its been surprisingly well behaved since it was cut. I just run a brush through (no mice) and leave it to dry.
I would love to go back to my very short cut, but I'm a coward!! As I'm a very large lady I feel I would look silly...like a pea on a potato kind of thing!! I can't dry my hair anymore either so I just leave it dry on its own and try and tie it back...of a fashion!! XX
Amanda is right you can buy stands that you just put your dryer onto and hey presto lol. I have never bought one though as I got used to letting my hair dry on its own. I have not used a hair dryer for over ten years now and my hubby bought me a lovely set lol. And I will not have my hair cut either. When I was younger I had very very long hair and I loved it. My father made my mother get it cut short so now I refuse to have it cut by anyone. I trim the ends now and again myself if I can, other than that it is left alone. I only wash my hair with shampoo once a week at most, and that is if I can. Other than that I put myhead under bubble water lol and just chill xxxxx
