Can any one tell me where/wat is the clinic in Irvine Ayrshire that helps ms, me, Fibro

Someone mentioned to me a specialised clinic in Irvine that helps ms,me,Fibro, I can't find it and I don't wont to keep fonin my gp as I do it every month, thanks take care

I did a search, but the only one I could find was in Irvine California! They are acupuncturists.

There is, however, a group called 'Fibromyalgia Friends' in Scotland. If you look them up online they may be able to help you.

Hi,

I don't know if this is the clinic you mean but on lots of threads on other forums they mention Cross House Hospital. Is this near you at all? Many people saying they attend here and that this hospital recommended local support groups too.

Like I say may not be the correct hospital or clinic you were asking about but you may be able to ring them for further information

It is Douglas grant rehabilitation centre, its in the grounds of old Ayrshire central hospital.

I think you need to be referred by your gp. I see Dr mattison, he is amazing, the top man in the area for M.E./ fibro. He has refered me on to other proffessional to help also. Hope this has helped. Lorna

i would love to find a support group near me in stirling scotland i get so very lonely it feels like now ive been told ive got fibro just a cpl of mounths ago ive been left to just deal with it on my own by the medical people i have so many qeustoins ide like to ask when i remember them that is.x
