several nights recently,I've woken in pain with my face pressed into the mattress feeling all the springs! So,my lovely mum is buying me a mattress topper! now I wont want to get up!

Sounds lovely to me,if I win the lottery first thing I'd do is buy a whole new bed (not that you can only buy half a one!)infact ill buy you all one!!xx

EBAY do great mattress toppers! We have one & I wouldn't be without it!! On the rare occasion we go anywhere overnight we take it with us & it's saved me many a night of pain & misery I can tell you!! Enjoy your comfort. xx

Thin memory foam mattress toppers stop the springs jabbing into you too! Might be worth a try - there is nothing worse than a spring digging in your back, I had this myself. Buying a mattress topper is a lot cheaper than a new mattress or a new bed too!

apparently it's only the last few inches that count!

I've had mine for years and it's sort of orange as well as yellow. probably need a new one.
