Mattress recommendations

Hello lovely people😊. Can anyone recommend me a good mattress please. I used to love my firm orthopaedic mattress. Now it's causing me pain on my hips and ribs everyday. 😩

I tried sleeping on my sofa which is slightly softer but still get some pain but not as bad. Now I have short naps rather than long deep sleep although I miss those long deep sleep but sacrifices have to be made. I hope everyones day is going well! X

Hi Rally73 i tend to agree with Mdaisy and Trikki memory foam is certainly the better option.

I hope whatever pain relief your on helps you and you have a pain free day.

Good luck my friend.

Thank you @Trikki @mdaisy 😊 not sure if my husband would be happy about sinking into the mattress 😂😂 I think I'll get one that gives you a free trial just incase it doesn't work for me! X

Hello Rally73

This is a question that comes up a lot on the forum.

If you type "mattresses" into the search bar at the top right of your screen, you will be able to read through all the past posts we have had on that subject.

I'm sorry I can't give you a recommendation. I find my mattress very uncomfortable but cannot afford to replace it at the moment.

Wishing you a peaceful weekend

Hi Rally73

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? As BlueMermaid3 says this comes up a great deal on the forum and I always say that I love my memory foam mattress. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I used to have the same problem but I bought a memory foam mattress and that is much more comfortable - supports all of your body and shapes to you. Even a thick memory foam mattress topper might be more comfortable. They do good ones at IKEA but I would recommend their more expensive ones. I bought mine years ago so I expect quality has moved on since then. Good luck and sleep better!

I bought a mattress topper, which helps me a lot. It isn't a foam one as I have allergy issues. It's like a thin duvet, mattress sized and fastens on with elastic at the corners.
