I am due to have my assessment in 10 days & have similar problems. I mentioned it to my GP this morning & she was convinced that I'd be fine & sounded disbelieving when I told her what has been happening! Shame She couldn't do Atos job!

Appeal this, I did. I wrote them a letter explaining why I felt I couldn't travel or go back to work in great detail and tried to cover as much info as I could and they changed me over to the support group

From what I can understand, I am expected to attend interviews and the Hubby who is off work caring for me! Job centre plus will look like a casualty case!!! I would want nothing more than health and going to work, impossible like this..... Made me even more depressed too.....

I'm also in a work related group. Again, what do they expect me to be able to do?? Stairs - NO; lifts - NO; I can't hold a phone or pen cos my hands seize up, I have to raise my legs every afternoon cos of lymphoedema, I have to have help on the loo cos of fibro and osteoarthritis, some days I can't even be bothered to get out of bed!!
