had to answer the phone to a brilliant friend who was hoping to go for coffee and I had to say stay away I have the lurgee. She was lovely went and fetched the papers for me. Then while waiting for the Nurse to call to my leg I opened the front door and two great friends were there smiling . I had to turn them away as well. I have not managed a catch up in ages so that was sad still I did the right thing cannot go spreading this around.

So when I feel able I will go see them ! Could have done with a giggle still I know we can all have one here.

Shall go now and stop blathering till I find something enormouse to talk about like ......um...an elephant where do elephants come in to Christmas. xgins

Of course elephants come into Christmas... Didn't you read my reply to your blog yesterday about mice pies.... You need the mice pies to scare away the elephants...

Sorry about missing out on your friends .. I was just about to leap... Ok heave myself onto my mobility scooter to go to my friends for coffee and cake and she phoned to say she had the lurgy..... Did you pass it on to my friend... And did you pinch the cake.... Looks suspiciously at gins

Oh sorry you have the dreaded lurgy Gins, I can totally sympathise as I've had mine for 3 weeks now! Every time I think I'm getting rid of it, it pops up the next day with a big sign saying "ha! I'm not going anywhere!" I've been taking echinacea and vit c pills. Hope you feel better soon then you can have coffee and cake with your friends Mrs Popular :-)
