Just wondering if due to having this blessing called fibro (scoff) are we entitled to the flu jab ???
Flu jab: Just wondering if due to... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Flu jab
Not sure, I have other illness that qualify, ring your health centre and ask. x x
As I understand it different surgeries seem to have different criteria, so please ask your surgery regarding your eligibility. Most surgeries as far as I know don't automatically offer flu jabs for patients with Fibromyalgia, It tends to be their other conditions that make them eligible.
No we are not ... At least not according to my surgery my OH is he had it ... I paid last year in an attempt to help reduce his risk .. I reacted really badly and OH ended up looking after me more than ever... Never again for me personally . But other people on here get it through work or pay for it and have no problems... So it's basically your choice if you want to pay to get it done

i have had a flu jab at my surgery, was free, and had no side affects,
Thanks guys, haven't had flu for many years and always thought it was a good thing but apparently not, will talk my doctor next time i see him xx
it is a very good thing, i had the real hardcore flu year before last, was the worst thing ever, its definately worth getting the jab.
Thanks Susie have doctors in 3 weeks will check then depends how much it costs, although presciptions are free in Wales >>>> thank goodness!!! i imagine i will ahve to pay. I can't work and recieve no financial aid and my Paul works in Morrison's during nights so although pays enough for us to live their isn't much left after bills etc.
