A friend indeed.

I have just spent a lovely luchtime and afternoon with someone I met recently and it turns out she has fibro too. It was brilliant being able to talk and stop mid sentence having forgotten what I was talking about and then have her do the same and having a good laugh about it. It was nice to be able to talk about fibro fog and aching and other problems without feeling I had to explain myself.

We have arranged to meet again soon and introduce the dogs (very important!) and I would like to think we will become good friends.

It is so nice when that kind of thing happens isn't it? So many folks find it hard to understand how we feel so it makes a refreshing change when life gives us the opportunity to meet new people who are on the same wavelength. I'm sure your new friend feels just the same way as you. Take care. Jane x

That must be lovely - not that I'd wish Fibro or CFS/ME on any of my friends - nor even on my enemies for that matter!

Me neither. I have only known her for a short time but having this awful illness has given us a common bond.

So glad you have found a friend who understands, & I'm sure she feels the same!

What dogs have you got? xx

We both have bitsers. My boy was bought as a jack Russell but is bigger with probably border, Lakeland, Paterdale? Who knows :-). My friends is a big dog, same sandy colour as mine but again maybe, Labrador, rodesian ridgeback, and his head looks like there could be some staffie.
