I have Fibro!

Today my body is racked in pain. I feel drugged! I’m so tired and the exhaustion is like a deflated balloon. This won’t last forever. In a few days I will be able to function ( in a fibro way ) and then crash! The cycle will repeat itself.

I hope that you don’t mind me expressing my feelings today. It helps to talk to people who understand. I really hope that most of you are having as good a day as possible.

Oh poor you, the dreadful crash and burn. I do it time and time again. I seem to struggle with the art of pacing :( I had a full day 8-5.30 at work and then a evening wedding reception yesterday so today am I feeling about 90 so know exactly where you are coming from. Be kind to yourself and have an easy day and be strong enough to say "no" if someone wants something of you today!

Thanks for your reply. I hope that you will be kind to yourself as well today. It’s rubbish that we have to suffer after doing everyday activities or if we dare to go out and enjoy ourselves! 😂 Have a restful day . X

I'm sorry to hear this I totally sympathise with you I myself am in the middle of a horrendous flare that won't let up I keep telling myself the same thing it won't last a total vicious circle eh take care of yourself and rest up xx

I’m sorry to hear that you are having a horrible flare too. It’s just as well that when we feel a little better we forget just how horrendous a flare can be. I hope that you are managing to rest. I find that there’s always something that I should be doing and feel so guilty when I’m unable to function. I wish that no-one had this awful illness but it’s good to speak to people that totally understand so thank you for taking the time to reply when you are feeling rubbish . Look after yourself. X

Thank you.x

Tomorrow is my first app with a pain physcologist so I guess it has flared at the right time for a change lol I am writing them a list of everything that's happening on this flare as I always seem to forget the worse bits when ever a medical asks this flare has been going since Tuesday I feel a slight change for the better today but am going slow we know we always overdo it as soon as we start to feel normal as far as we can hope u can take something that helps even a little xxx

Thank you for replying . I hope that you get on well with the pain psychologist and you can get some helpful tips to stave off the horrible flares. Let me know how you get on please. It’s my daughter-in-law’s birthday today. I’m going to have to somehow have a shower and go to wish her a happy birthday. It would also have been my dad’s 100th birthday if he had still been with us. My kids want us to have a family meal! I’m in the sofa in my pjs! 😂 I just don’t know how I am going to get through it all but I’ll either manage or feel even worse because I’ll be letting everyone down. I hope that you are on the right track for a wee while. Good idea writing down exactly what’s happening during a flare. Good luck. X

Hi there mcglada0

I am totally sympathetic with you right now I have been having a total bad flare up I have ME along with the fibromyalgia and I’ve had to have yesterday in my pjs in bed and this morning. I was in a total state yesterday as I was meant to go to my cousins christening but I just totally couldn’t function I felt awful as much as I tried the pain has been unbearable. Has anyone found since the cold weather it’s even worse. I’m thinking of you and your not alone gentle hugs x

Thank you for taking time to reply especially when you are having such a rough time. I know how you feel having to opt out if important events. I think that gets my stress levels so high which makes the pain and fatigue worse and so the cycle goes on. My legs are aching today and I’m so tired. We must try to remain positive and think of some better days which we have had and will have again. I wish with all my heart that you weren’t suffering and hope that the flare lifts a bit soon. Xx
