It's been a sort of window day, sorry I meant to say it's been weird

Our words don't match the situation, it is something that I feared

We see a letter and our minds run wild, a tangent of it's own

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I'd hate to be here alone.

I sit and watch a horror film, I say I think it's squarey

My husband laughs with all his heart, my mistakes, how dare he

I hear him tell my daughter, and then he laughs some more

Now he's getting on my nerves and I bang my feet onto the floor.

I read the words upon the screen, and read them once again

I thought it said tenancy, but the word is really ten

So now I'm reading words all wrong, that one was just not there

To others it may seem hilarious, but for us it's hard to bear.

And now I take to writing on my pad with my new pencil

And when I looked to buy it I thought the price label said stencil

And when you add a new word it just does not make any sense

I simply wanted to write intense, instead I wrote in tents.

What's the point in spell check if words look right when wrong

My spelling used to be be so good, on that I was so strong

But when you fill your forms in and send them all away

You get a copy in the post and your words have gone astray.

What must people think, would they think I had no schooling

You try to tell them 'aint my fault', who do I think I'm fooling

If your head is playing up and words don't pass your lips

You tend to stand there like a fool clicking your fingertips.

But the hardest part of all is you realise not what you do

My brain seems to get a sticky bit, I call it fibro glue

So when people think you acting daft, making like an oaf

Tell them to Google Fibro-fog and use their ruddy loaf!

And today i have faired no better, when discussing my COPD with clinic nurse I told her I was glad I did not have apples, I meant Asthma! xxxxx

Before I became ill I used to 'talk' for a living. I can't string a sentence together without stumbling over my words now and also struggle with both reading and writing. It is a humbling condition in so many ways Hoever, your wonderful poems give us all some hope OG. Stay strong. Jane x

I went for a followup for a sist Dr asked my age I said 34 next week I'm not I'm 43 next week I couldn't remember how to get off my seat and walk less than 2 feet to climb on the couch for myb examination brain fog or wat .

Oh dear. I do hoe the follow up appointment went okay but I would say it is okay to forget your age, I do it all the time and I am 48 this year. So in case I forget I wish you so much love and send you so many gelatine hug for your birthday next week xxxxx

Thankyou, I havet to wait for the site of my sist to settle down as I had it lancred about 7 weeks ago it has now healed but the scared is still a bit raisedv, when its hone down I have to have it cut open again to take out the shell off the sist so its oesnt refill. I have another on NY left breast so I have to have a scan to make sure there is nothing else going on . Sithy
