The University of Salford is carrying out research to develop a daily activities questionnaire and they have asked FibroAction to help them find participants.
What is the purpose of this study?
People with fibromyalgia often see occupational therapists, as part of their treatment, who ask about how they manage their everyday activities. This information helps therapists to help people manage any problem activities more easily. Often therapists ask questions using a brief checklist. In this study, we are developing a questionnaire to help this be done more thoroughly. We have already developed a questionnaire for use with people with rheumatoid arthritis. We now wish to see if it is relevant for people with other types of arthritis or musculoskeletal conditions, such as fibromyalgia. We also want to use this information to find out more about how fibromyalgia affects people’s ability to do things in their daily lives. We are asking your help to do this.
How can I get involved?
It's simple, just email info@fibroaction.org with your name and address and we'll send you a pack with further information.
