It probably is fibro!

I get this a lot, especially around my knees and feet.

Altho' the skin feels cool, I get relief from applying a well-wrapped ice-pack and putting my feet up for half an hour.

Using a cooling lotion like calamine can be very soothing, too.

Hope this helps,

Luv ...Moffy

Oh yes I recognise this!! I liken it to sunburn - without the sun! At least

winter coming will make things cooler and easier.

I get this over 80% of my body. Mine feels like wasp or bee stings and when a little better like snow burn. I find relief from a bubble spa as the nerves dont send the pain signal then.

Good luck with kicking the burning pains.

I have had this in my right foot for about four days now, no, last Thursday it started. It feels like I am being burnt. Agony and nothing you can do to stop it either!

Yes this is our old mate, fibro. I have this problem too. It starts for me once I am in bed and I usually end up sleeping with them uncovered. I keep loose covers on the bed now, instead of a quilt, it helps me to control the heat more easily.

yes it is . i get this all the time mostly on my arms. They feel like there on fire but my hands can be ice cold

Hi everyone!

I have the same, feet used to be really cold but after perimenopause hit they burned like hell but mostly at night. At the end of peri-nenopause the burning sensation stopped and now 1.5 years after post-menopause I had a flare-up with both hands and feet burning, along with weakness and numbness. 3 months after the flare-up I have almost non-stop burning mainly in left arm and hands. Could this have a hormonal component?
