Burning feet

Morning all, just wondered if anyone else suffers from burning feet? And is it related to fibromyalgia? Sometimes mine are so bad when I go to bed that I just can't keep my feet in the bed!

Oh gosh yes my feet get that painful i struggle to walk the pain is horrendous feels like glass and fine on my feet have u found any ways that help x

Oh I totally understand... I get numbness, pins and needles, aching, burning in my feet and toes!! I always wear very comfortable shoes (no fashion shoes for me, sadly!) but that doesn't improve the feeling in my feet. Like you, I am forever hanging my feet out of bed at night time, because the burning is unbearable. I am due to see a neurologist in a couple of weeks about my feet pain, so I will keep you posted if he has any useful suggestions.

phlebo123 I have burning feet also and Fibromyalgia, have to hang my feet out of bed also - how did you get on at the Neurologist, did he tell you why you have the burning, and any solutions?

Hello, sorry to hear that you also experience burning feet. I have now had a nerve conduction test and an MRI scan, on my head and spine, neither of them showed anything out of the ordinary. I am now waiting for a follow up consultation with the neurologist, but he did say that 50% of peripheral neuropathy has no obvious cause, so I am not to hopeful!! I imagine that it is another weird and annoying symptom of fibromyalgia! I am going for a session of reflexology this week, which always make my feet feel more relaxed. I will keep you updated when I see the consultant x

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., my feet will burn if I’m in shoes too long or walked too far (although very sensible with flat shoes now)I soak them with Epsom salts and use a bio freeze cream on them underneath that really helps before bed I do try moisturise my feet on a daily basis as well and keep on top of hard cracked heals as I find this to be very uncomfortable and put little cotton socks in to keep the moisture in , Could be Fibro related for me as i have not been told of any arthritis etc as yet , I’ve posted link if you would like to lock your posts as only our community can see xx

Yes burning feet regularly since diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Just comes and goes. Don't have a remedy - sorry. Something else to put up with.😐

Yes my feet burn terribly and my hands. I sleep with feet outside the covers.

Hello Marielena2. I have had this for a number of years and still cannot solve the problem. I had a bad flare up recently and have now ordered Epsom Salts at the chemist. I do find my B12 injection helps, I am interested in hearing the rsults from everybody

Body shop do a foot cooling spray which helps a bit xx
