Starting Uni Tomorrow!

I'm starting uni tomorrow, really looking forward to it but hoping to pace myself a little more than last year! The uni met with me last week to put things in place for my exams and help me fill out my Disabled Student Allowance so hopefully going to get some funding for a new laptop (a much lighter one!) .. Exciting! :)

Congratulations - hope you really enjoy yourself. Which Uni are you going to and what course?

Make sure you get plenty of rest, take advantage of the leisure facilities (especially pool and jacuzzi if there is one) and start your assignments early on as you can't rely on doing a last minute all nighter as many students do!

Hello!

Thank you! I have just graduated with Honours in Psychology so now doing my Masters in Psychological Research Methods in Child Development at the University of Stirling :) .. Yeah I'm definitely going to be using the facilities, they have a great sports facilities!

Yeah I'll be getting an early night most nights, I'm ale to get an extension on my course work so it gives me some more time to spread the work out :)

Congratulations... I really hope everything works out for you... I'm with the Open Uni doing my Diploma in Health & Social Care... am starting my 4th year next February... I'll have to repeat the year I failed to get my diploma but I'll get there... I struggle with Moderate Dyslexia but don't let anything stop you achieving what you would like & even if it takes you just that little bit longer to get there... persevere because you will get there in the end...

I did my masters part time ... Education Management pleased I did it but it was seriously hard work. My B Ed was a walk in the park in comparison lol

Enjoy

Hey!

I'm already feeling like it's hard work and it's only week 2! How did you find time to do everything? I'm feeling so overwhelmed with everything, my diary is full plus I'm trying to keep going with some social things, to keep me sane Haha!

Hi, I'm now going into my 2nd year of my Person Centred Counselling degree so know what you mean about having to pace yourself. To be honest dreading this year as there are more study hours and voluntary placements to fit in too! I really wish you all the luck and hope you enjoy your new course!!

Hope your studies go well, what a wonderful place to study, I went there for an interview many years ago and I fell in love with the place. I'm going to try and pace better this year too.
