Impatient ...

I'm totally impatient now, I want this OT appointment over. It's for tomorrow at 9.15am, nice of them to take notice of the note on my files where I can't function well that early due to my disabilities and the side effects of my cocktail of medications isn't it?, but that said it's their problem if I'm not exactly coherent when answering whichever questions and fantasy island type suggestions the therapist dreams up this time around.

I'm just sick and tired, no make that exhausted, of repeating things that were covered in my almost two hour assessment in January. Last time I spent five minutes arguing that I didn't have Osteoarthritis as well as Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was right by the way, not the OT who had my *cough* notes right in front to her which didn't mention OA at all anywhere in them.

She has also assumed all my problems are Fibro related, taking no heed of any of my physical disabilities caused by RA and spinal deformities, she writes everything ... every pain, tiredness, exhaustion, ache ... you name it it's Fibro in her opinion. She also said that my RA was under control? Eh ... I was referred to her in October, assessed in January, and it was because of major degeneration and flare ups with RA nothing to do with Fibro at all. Covered all that ... in my assessment ... and still her statements and treatment tend to be totally wrong and if it doesn't fit in her assessment of what my course of treatment is she either ignores it completely or dismisses it ... as wait for it ... caused by Fibro. Hence it 'doesn't matter!!'. And this is the woman apparently treating me for Fibro by the way.

Yup, totally thrilled to visit her and hear her latest brain wave. I could do without the condescending attitude and being talked down to and spoken to like the village idiot though.
