Yea I have had swollen fingers for ages now. some days I cant bend them and they feel like they are going explode...... rings are a no go for me now.... I have to run them under cold water to get some relief x
I know what you mean, my hands do feel hot and so do my feet it is maddening!
take care Caz
I forgot to mention that I also suffer from RLS, It probably does not help. Caz
I have been suffering with swollen fingers & feet since the change in the weather, but I do have arthritus in them also. In winter they go white and so do my toes.
I have had to stop going abroad as my skin is so sensitive to the sun I come out in fluid filled swellings on ezposed skin, it looks like I have been badly burnt, sun cream makes it worse. what is RLS?
Restless leg syndrome, also known as Ekbom. and sometimes also as Willis Ekbom,
You just cant stop moving your legs, and in my case arms and body even face also,
lt is agony for me, although not everybody gets it this badly, at present it is fairly well controlled with Premipexole, which is a med used for Parkinsons disease as well, it is a Dopermine agonist, I think I have that right.
I also get the white fingers and toes, I think it could be Raynauds, have not checked with the Doctor yet.
Yup I wake in the morning my hands are shaped into claws red and swollen ... Takes 2 hours in the morning for me to get going and for my hands to cool down and work properly.

Yes I know what you mean, and mine are painful all the time too.
Do you think it is the fibro, I was thinking of seeing my GP as it is now in my wrists elbows and shoulders, also I have sore areas that I can hardly bear to touch, like bad bruises.
Poor you, I know what you mean, I keep wanting to put my hands in cold water to cool them down, but then the pain gets worse, take care Cazx
I too get sore place that feel like I have a bruise but nothing to be seen just thought it was fibro..... I think I blame fibro for perhaps too much..... I once said to my husband if I die first as I am older than him .... Put on my gravestone..... I didnt die fibro killed me
I am still waiting to get a diagnoses Helen, so your reply was interesting, perhaps they are tender points. I come on this site because the symptoms of fibro are the closest I have found to my own, and enjoy it and all the support.
I've told my husband to put on my gravestone 'I told you I was ill! after the great Spike Milligan!
