While weaning off Pramipexole can I take Gabapentin and Pramipexole simultaneously?

Hi I've taken pramipexole.125 with sometimes extra half. Dropped the half over week ago to play it safe. Anyhow I've been taking magnesium 3 hours apart from the Sifrol and a calcium tablet and hour later.

I take C/L 3x per day. I plan to add Prampexole. Has it been help with symptoms? What improved? Any side effects? Thanks for your feedback.

To begin with I was put on 2x 0.18 Pramipexole (slow release) and 2x 0.26 (fast release). The very same specialist warned me about staying on Pramipexole for too long (longer than 2 or 3 years) because of augmentation.

How long have the Governments of the world known that Pramipexole was a drug that would eventually become ineffective and lead to horrible withdrawals? How long have they known there are better drugs with fewer side effects, etc.?

It is now 6 weeks since I started gradually to come off pramipexole. I was on 2 0.088mg tablets for many years. 25 days ago I started on pregabalin 75 mg capsules. I am now on one half tablet of pramipexole in addition to the pregabalin. Occasional nights are not too bad, the rest are really bad.

I research this pramipexole and my cousin was on it and now want off.

I am prescribed pramipexole but I am barely functioning on as little as 2 hours sleep. I am in my late 40s and wondering if this condition just gets worse with age. I am dreading going back to work next Monday as I am barely functioning .

Hello, What have people experienced when discontinuing their last dose of pramipexole? I ask because it has been almost three weeks since I took my last dose of pramipexole, and I have managed relatively well with pregabalin (200mg at night) and codeine (2x30mg).

I started my withdrawal last Monday. So far it’s been a tough week. Walking the floor every night with very little sleep. Only relief I get is in a bath. Today I’m so low and emotional. Is this a side effect of the withdrawal or just due to exhaustion.

I am now well on my way to giving up pramipexole and am taking pregabalin and am delighted that that particular man problem has decreased significantly. Due to reduced pramipexole or to taking gabapentin I cannot say. Have any other men noticed the same change?

About two years ago it was only 80% effective and I asked for another Tramadol but my pain doctor gave me 1 MG of pramipexole instead and it did the trick. I take 100 MG of Tramadol and 1 MG of pramipexole and for the last 2 years I've been pain free at night. No more walking instead of sleeping.

My neurologist stated that to get off Opioids will require a similar process to getting off of pramipexole . It may feel different than getting off of pramipexole has felt…. Maybe not as difficult. I actually don’t know but for ME at least I don’t want to trade one physical dependency for another.

Is it true pramipexole can cause compulsive and impulsive behavior??

I just want to make sure I am reading the procedure for going off pramipexole and onto pregablin correctly. I started taking pregablin along with my pramipexole and will do this for about 4 weeks. At that point I will start reducing the pramipexole while still taking pregablin.

Going back to the pramipexole, every day I have suffered fog brain, balance problems and headaches since starting on this pill. It would be really helpful to know if anyone else has suffered like this. Thank you.

yesterday was my last day on Pramipexole . I am in agony and the Buprenorphine isn’t helping , Just venting. Thanks

My question is.... has anyone come off pramipexole taking 2 days off one week, then 3 days off the next week instead of stopping all at once? I'm currently on .25 at night.

Hi All I was weaned(a bit too quickly) off pramipexole and am now on 1600 mgs of Gabapentin.My RLS are slightly improved but I have very broken sleep.More worrying for me is the onset of extreme anxiety:/depression.This may have been triggered by the traumatic withdrawal I experienced coming off the
