GRRRRRRRRRRRR I amso fed up of not being active and being in so much pain . i need painkillers what work as none do .Off for a visit to gp me thinks xxx

Oh bless you Rosehip! We all get days where we feel like this - it's a lot to deal with this Fibro thing isn't it. We get over one hurdle and another one seems to slap us in the face. The only consolation is that we are all in the same boat here, we feel each others' pain and frustration and we understand! I felt the same as you about my painkillers and I mentioned this to my Consultant and was prescribed Methocarbamol tablets, it might be worth a mention to your Doctor. Obviously it will depend on whether your GP/Consultant thinks this medication would suit you with your other meds etc. I take two 750mg tablets when my pain is at saturation point (the point where I want to start screaming usually!) and within one hour my pain has eased and I can manage it. It has literally made such a difference to me. I hope you manage to sort something out and that you feel more comfortable soon. Rosehip I'm feeling the same.

I've been in bed barely able to move all wknd. I dong feel my medication is right for ne. Tramadol & Paracetamol. I have an appt with Pain Clinic on Wed & I'm hoping the can prescribe me with the right meds.

I feel so guilty too. I have no energy to even shower, I'm givin myself today again of rest & then I will have to try sort myself out.

I am going to write down my pains etc cause no doubt uf I dont I will go in brain dead.

Hi Rosehip, sorry you are in pain despite medication. I too have the same problem. I take 22 tablets per day all together and i don't think they do much at all. I have Naproxen, paracetamol and Tramadol. I told my doctor but he says stronger pain relief will make me more fatigued. I am going to keep putting pressure on & he will have to change my meds eventually Good luck with your G.P. Hugs xxxx.
