dry mouth and dizzyness

Hi All, I have a very dry mouth in the morning, and I drink water which unglues upper jaw from lower. I get periods of extreme dizzyness which my gp says is - I have forgotton what its called. I fell over and broke my coxics or tail bone. Agony untold.I don't feel safe or secure. anyhelp deeply appreciated.

Do you suffer from dry eyes too ? Have you ever been tested for Sjogren's Syndrome ?

I ask because a very dry mouth , along with dry eyes , are two of the symptoms for this.

Might be worth asking your GP for a Rheumatology referral .

There are pastilles and / or mouth sprays you can get on prescription to help along with eye drops if you have dry eyes too..

HI OuchOuch, it could be down to the medication you are taking that is giving you a dry mouth.

Hello OuchOuch,

I take some medications for depression and fibromyalgia that have many side effects, dry mouth being one of them. There are products available to help relieve dry mouth. Biotene makes a mouth rinse, toothpaste, gum etc for dry mouth. Check it out.

Hi Yes I too suffer this along with the dry eyes. To the point were I cannot wear my contact lens for long periods anymore. Which I hate having to wear my specs.
