Sore throat and gland pain

i have a constant sore throat come gland pain, does anyone else have this and what treatment do you have, if i have spoken fo period or had a long day it is worse.

i have had the same as you throat & glands since Sunday, not sure if it is a bug as my nose is running like a burn!!

Going to Dr today to see whats happening! will let you know this evening how i get on...hope you feel better soon...hugs Mary x.

I have had a sore throat for a couple of years. People always ask me if I have cold when I speak to them on the phone. Been to doctors who say could be FMS, could be my asthma inhalers but it looks fine to them so just have to keep suffering and sounding like Bonnie Tyler!

I get sore throats all the time with swollen glands.. i have found doctors useless with this.. they just tell me to gargle salt water which i find useless.. the best thing i find is chloroseptic spray which totally numbs your throat and gets rid of the pain.. its the only thing i can find that helps!

I am asthmatic and use inhalors alot and i dont think its the asthma or inhalors that effect the sore throat

Sorry the spray is available over the counter from the chemists and is about three or four pounds.. lasts quite a while.. i get sore throats every two to three weeks..
