Insect bites!!

Never had this problem before but since having FM I have been bitten on my leg and it is masive, red and it hurts. Just been to chemist for some cream but it is true that everything hurts 10 times more.

Not sure that bite reaction is related to fibro personally , maybe its what bit you? Horseflies are nasty? Bicarb of soda mixed into a paste and spread it on xx

I got bitten last wkend on the front of my thigh (do not know what by) , by Monday it was huge, hard, painful and burning hot. I went to walk in and mine was infected. They gave me antibiotics and has really gone down.

But said apply ice pack and this brought the swelling down and cooled, just an idea.

I never use to react to bites, but do now going to Turkey in 13 days, so I am going to have everything to fight the little bleeders lol.

Nothing worse than a nice tan and to be covered in nasty bite.

hi ive been bitten in my head just above my forhead its huge n very painful everything does seem worse with FM xxx

I've now got 3 HUGE bites on my leg after I ventured up the garden yesterday to see the hens.

One is right on the back of my knee and is the size of a 50 pence piece . I scratched it so much in bed last night ( naughty I know ) that it has bled and is now all crusty

I don't think summer agrees with me

Many thanks for your replies - I got some anthisan cream and it stoppped the itching but i have great big red marks left. Must try to stay away from bugs !!!
