Insect repellents

Hi all,

Hope you are having a good day! Just to ask can anyone recommend an insect repellent that works with fibromyalgia? Also any creams? I would prefer natural ones but any really as long as it works. I am prone to frequent, painful long-lasting bites and am going away on what should be a relaxing time in the sun!

Many thanks, mx πŸ’‹

Over the years we have found the best is Avon spray. At around 2.60 Euros it seems to work for many people. It actually says in the description insect repellent

Living on a plantation we get more than our fair share of biting beasts. Yes it really really does work Emerich!!!

Thank you! Will do that before I buy anything - would prefer as little chemicals as possible because I am going with a group who are very eco-conscious and sharing a room.

Think I will go for Avon which has citronella and take some eucalyptus cream for any bites. Thank you mx πŸ’‹

Yes I am like you a buyer's dream date and the bites get quite inflamed and are very long lasting. I too am a fan of the Avon skin so softly but it has to be the original one. It also makes your skin very soft. Have a wonderful holiday.x

Yes they love my ankles as well and I have the scars to prove it. Just popped out last night for 5 minutes to do some deadheading in the garden and forgot to spray and I have three itchy lumps. Hope the spray works for you, I buy it in industrial quantities when it is in offer, my Avon lady loves me, lolx

I normally use Avon skin so soft, but am trying Neals Yard Remedies Organic citronella spray when we go away next month, as its all natural and organic products x

Agree with all the Avon recommendations...it's really good also their sunscreen and a very reasonable price. Happy holiday.x
