I've decided - I'm gonna plan my day and get 3 or 4 things done today. If I do the 3 things, I'll be celebrating and give myself a pat on the back. My counsellor and the OH Dr from work said I am too hard on myself so .... I am going to change my approach and say well done to myself for doing some realistic tasks and not expect too much of myself and beat myself up for not managing it. If I have any energy left, of course I have a million things to do .... and will limit it to 2 extra things and then be very pleased with myself.
I think the frustration has been causing me to feel very down and angry, and stressed, which doesn't help us fibro sufferers! So positive ways ahead

good for you you go for it girl we are all here with you pushing you on love diddle x
Hi Suzy, you're right to be positive, but remember even if you only get one thing done you still deserve a pat on the back, never put yourself down otherwise frustration turns into resentment, which is not good. Be good to yourself. How long have you been diagnosed? It can take quite a while to get your head around it let alone everyone else's! Love and pats on the back, Kimbell x
I only got diagnosed in March - so it is still early days for me I suppose. I wanted to get back to work, but OH Dr said it was too early because, I think she realised I do need to get my head around it all! So am taking time to do just that - with the help of everyone of this blog it is going in the right direction (most days) xxx Thanks
Hi Suzy, good on you for realising your limitations. We have all been there, racing round each day trying to do everything but just remember, "Rome wasn't built in a day". There is always tomorrow and are all those things you race to get done really necessary?
Take care and remember, rest is really important so sit down every now and again and have a cuppa.
Well I did manage 2 of the 3 things I planned so far, and i am a bit 'pooped' now. However, I have been inspired by the success of one of our fellow bloggers to apply for a disability blue badge. so I've just sent that in on-line. I hope that my local authority appreciate the complexities of mobility challenges faced by fibro sufferers.
I completely understand that kind of day !!! So waking with some energy I decided I wouldn't squander it! One of those good days is coming your way soon *{}* SuzySparkle
