Hi motzie

thank you for your welcome its great to be here at long last i have found somewhere purely by accident mind you but have found somewhere that other people in this universe have the same as me , not that i thought i was alone but since being diagnosed its hard to describe to other people what the pain is actually like. Hi Simon and welcome!

I have found that green tea and herbal teas and are a great help.

My favourite brand is Pukka that I know Sainsbury's sell, I don't know about the other supermarkets. It works best for me, but as with everything Fibro related it's 'suck it and see' until you find what helps you best.

I think they are so helpful because as well as giving you their properties, it means that not only do you cut out caffeine, but if you would usually have milk in your coffee, you are reducing your dairy intake as well.

Great to see another member, hope we see lots more from you.

hugs, kate

Hi Chris,

first of all thank you for welcoming me to the group, i can give you a list of the teas i have found helpful to me . They are all made by twinings, fresh and fruity: Raspberry, strawberry & loganberry , Echinacea & raspberry, pure camomile . also twinings pure tea the cherry blossom flavour. Simon

Hello and welcome Simon! What an interesting post about herbal teas! I have always loved Peppermint tea and Lemon and Ginger teas but have never looked into whether or not they would help me with my Fibro. I think I will get some more and pay more attention to their possible benefits! If a herbal tea helped my sleep I would be really happy about that, so thank you! :)
