Hi

I am new to the site too and so glad I found it as I was beginning to think I was imagining all these symptoms and they had mis diagnosed me (10 years ago now although they think I have had it for about 30 slowly getting worse) Its just a relief to see people talking about the same thing, Not that I want to see you are all suffering. Just makes me feel that I am not such an idiot you know senior moments at 66 years old! I have had a couple of nice messages from people and you are all so welcoming> Thank you all so much for being there

Hi Rosehip,

Welcome, glad to meet you, and you'll really feel at home here,I'm new here too, only joined a few days ago, though I spent a few days reading over some of the posts, I thought I had come home!

You get so fed up excusing your fibro fog etc to your family, even if they always say 'we know', I don't think anyone really knows apart from a fellow fibro sufferer, gentle hugs Claire xx

What lovely people you all are. I was diagnosed with fibro last October, I was seen by a Rheumatologist who gave me a little "booklet" on the condition, showed me the "points" on my body that backed up his diagnosis and told me to see my GP. I now take Gabapentin as well as Co-Codamol and Ibuprofen, oh and Amitryptyline, none of which appear to make a whole lot of difference!I have great trouble walking due to the pain. It's great to write this though, knowing that there are people out there who understand. A warm "hello" to you all. Jinni xx

Hi Jinni,

Nice to meet you, isint this a lovely site to meet such lovely warm and caring fellow sufferers, who are so kind and thoughtful and understanding?, it's great isint it?
