New to Fibro!

Hi there everyone. I am new to this group so thank you for having me. I have been having Fibro symptoms for years but only just diagnosed. I am really struggling to get my head round things and that this really could be what everyday feels like from this day on! Please can I ask if anyone here can reassure me that my neck pain in the front is a symptom? X

Hi, I'm new to Fibro too but I'd say that sounds like it. I think neck and back pain is pretty common with Fibro.

Hey there. Thanks for your reply. It’s exhausting isn’t it! I would like to say I have good days but the good days feel rubbish and the bad days..:::: get me a duvet!!!!!! X what are your main symptoms x

I get really bad back and abdominal pains which I find are the worst, and then it just makes me feel nauseated as well! On top of constantly feeling tired, it's just not a fun ride at all, is it? Glad to have found this community though

Yeah.... it’s a bumpy one for sure x yes to the tummy pains too. Have you prescribed anything to help x

I was given low dose antidepressants and told to self refer for CBT and we could check back in to see how it's going. So far I'm not finding much improvement from the antidepressants and haven't gotten a CBT appointment yet, but it is early days. Hows about you?

Hey there. I have been perscibed low dose antis too but haven’t started taking as the side effect scared the life out of me. I am going to attend my local monthly meeting group in February then book in with the docs. The only time I felt normal in seven years was when I was perscibed steroids for an awe full

Chest infection! ...... I miss the old me! ..... I need to feel brave enough to start the meds and see if they make a difference....some people report they work great others not so! X
