Can you not work with your GP to get more effective treatment?

It may also be worth looking at things like Occupational Health and schemes like Access for Work to see if they could help you manage better.

After a bit of rest I'm back to work tomorrow and like you I will suffer at the end of the day, only to go back the next day with pain on top of more pain. It is really hard to get up in the mornings but like you said bills have to be paid and we just have to live with it. Take care x

I know how you feel Sarah, I did that for quite a few years until in the end I had to give it up. It wasn't an easy decision to make and I do miss being in work but the flip side of that is I no longer have the stress of getting up and going to work on really bad days. I hope you can get a good night sleep tonight and are able to rest up and recover over the next few days. Take care, Angela xx

I too have had to give up work, the pain I was suffering just wasn't worth it and even my Boss said "What's more important to you, your health and well being or the money?" I know it IS tough when suddenly the income is crushed but there are benefits available and other help out there. I did find my Occupational Health Advisor at work was brilliant too, advising my boss on what I was capable of doing and how to work my shifts so I didn't get too exhausted. But in the end I had to accept I couldn't carry on. I hope things work out for you x
