After a few weeks of bad pain

Thanks Lexie. Glad u r coping just now, and things are working. This is such a terrible condition that is so hard to cope with at times, but having a positive attitude always helps me. I have just returned to work this week after a rotten and very painful few months. Live life as though there was no tomorrow and be thankful for all the good things we have in life xxx

Really pleased to hear someone is succeeding but sorry to learn you went through a lot to get here! Makes you appreciate it more doesn't it!

I have also had a bad time with things building up, but with the school holidays here I have time to relax and sleep as long as I need to and that is making more of a difference than some believe.

I can walk better than I have for a year! I know the pain is still around, it twinges from time to time and I am keeping my meds going as I really do not want to kick off a worse reaction.

My break through meds are staying in the drawer except for first thing. Thats just part of my routine as I have found if I don't take anything, pain creaps in.

My hands seem to be the area of most pain, but typing helps. Probably more to do with my osteoarthritis than FM.

It is so odd being without pain but awful to wait for its return!

I wish you well and hope your freedom lasts a very long time, and any return is manageable.
