Oh great I have to go listen to a bunch of teachers talk about a school trip my sonn is going on.....but the worst part is I have to sit on the most uncomfortable chairs ever and will be wriggling around with back pain.... oh well here goes.

I could take a cushion but I am sure I will get funny looks!!!

Couldn't you explain your illness and ask the school to provide a comfortable chair for you? I'm sure they'll be able to get a chair from the staff room. If no-one is insured to move the chairs why not ask if the meeting can be held in the staff room itself? It's worth a try. x

Thanks Sandy...I was ok in the end, the meeting was for all parents of year 6....don't think we would all fit in the staff room. I have learnt to take a jumper so I can pad out the back of my chair!!!

Thanks for your ideas, very sweet of you xx
