Hi, What meds do you take for burning of the legs and do they help.

ive taken amitryp baclofen and now gabaptin they havent worked for me due to staart duloxetine in a few weeks

Hi there aud,

I take gabapentin for burning pain mainly in my arms, but legs aswell and they have been a godsend.

I love them, some people say they have quite bad side effects but the only one i have is weight gain but i would rather that than that pain as it really makes me cry.

My friend is on them too and they have made a difference with her too and she is still working on them too.

You could ask your gp about these they dont suit everyone though.

Hi Jazher, Thanks for replying. I have been on gabapentin and I think they was starting to help me, and like a fool I came off them , if I dont get any relief from pregabalin I will go back on them. Take Care Aud xx

I have been taking gabapentin 1 x 300 for two days. The pain has gone but I'v ehad funnt effects. The first night I felt a bit drowsy and a bit drunk. Last night I felt ok but this morning I feel very drowsy and a bit spaced out. I love not having any pain but will these strange effects go away? Has anyone experienced this?
