I get both at times and I've been told it's caused by a lack of Zinc. If you have white spots on your nails, this is another sign you have a zinc deficiency.

Would be interesting to see if other Fibro sufferers get it too.

In any case, I hope it stops soon, I know how frustrating it can be.

yep i get it too, had it for last 5 years or so, i went to the Dr about it and had a appointment with ENT, they did allsorts of tests on my ears and said they cant find anything wrong with either one, it is only my right ear it happens too !!! The cons was really nice and has put me in for an MRI scan its on the 16th. Mine is especially bad when i am near a fan or the central heating boiler fires up ;-( it drives me mad grrrrr

thanks Jules58 that's really interesting. I will see what the Cons says after my MRI, I'm not expecting much as my Dr blames fibro for everything from finger ache to a leg falling off !!! Not that my leg has fallen off but i am sure they would blame fibro if it did !!

Yep i get that all of the time when i lay down to go to sleep, the sound always remindes me of the noise Dr Whos tardis makes LOL, i just try not to let it worry me, if i lay down and hear a Dalek saying EXTERMINATE then i will get VERY worried hehehe :)

Hope you find out what it is and get it sorted :)
