Tingling Head, Face and Legs.

Hi, I hope you are all hanging on in there!

I am a newbie here and wanted to chat with like minded people.

I am feeling so poorly.

I am having constant tingling in my head all day, my head feels like things moving about in it.

My face and legs tingle too, but my head is unbearable, it just will not stop tingling.

Neurologist now sending my scans to be read by the Neurosurgeon as I have a Disc Bulge in my neck. He said this maybe why I'm getting the tingling sensations.

GP has put me onto Antibiotics for Sinus Infection , and Vitimin D as my ranges are very low. Also referrring me to Head and neck clinic to see if they can see whats causing all of these awful sensations.

Thank you for reading my post.

Take care

Hi Yassy, Thank you for the reply. I hope you're having a good day!

Do you have tingling sensations in the head and face? The feelings are so scary and makes my anxiety so much worse. Keep thinking I'm gonna have a stroke. 😩

I am so glad we have each other on this forum, so we can chat with like minded people, and get stuff of ya chest when you feel so desperate.

Have you been suffering with Fibro for long? I hope it dosent effect you too much.

How long have you had Fibro and what meds do you take?

All we seem to do these days is wait, wait, wait.

GP's absolutely crap and all they wanna do is hurry you off out with a script for Mental Health and say this is all anxiety [ NOT]

It's infuriating with all the NHS, the medics don't seem to want to listen to you these days, it makes you want to shout ya head off at them all!!!!

Anyway enuf of my rant.

Have peaceful night, hopefully pain free for you.

Take care

Bubba

Afternoon, yes a good rant we need sometimes for sure, I’ve been diagnosed around 9years ,after being fobbed off by a doctor who showed me the door with some antidepressants ☹️ by chance I got seen by a brilliant doctor at our surgery who gave me the diagnosis, also CFS,treated sleep apnea as I have a small palate apparently. Yes this is the best forum I’ve ever come across and that’s what made me want too be a volunteer, I am 63 years old, still 40 in my head 🤣but yes the combination of the conditions are not easy so sometimes home is my safe place. Today I am half cup full as I. Like too call it 😉but daughter is poorly so making her and my 2 grandboys dinner. and the boys will come after school, it’s a cold day here in Suffolk, Thank goodness my retired husband does the school runs . Agreed it’s getting very hard out there too be heard but keep plugging at the doc and get your scan results and I’m praying you get some answers. I take one tablet at night of duloxtene (for fibro and keep anxiety at bay)the usual Blood pressure tablets, lanzaprazole for acid. I’m being very good and taking my vitamins at night , I take the gummy multi vitamin s as they taste lovely 😊 2 a day , a zinc/magnesium tablet. Cannot wait for the weather too get warm so I can sit outside xx

Hi Klr, Hope all good with you.

B12 = 767 [ 211 - 911 ]

Ferritin 23 [ 10 - 291 ]

I've been taking my own B12 Vits, as GP said I'm in range. [ Those ranges drive me NUTS!!! ]

also taking my own Iron Vits too.

Thank you and take care 🍁🍁

Probably a long shot but what are your blood sugar levels like. I'm diabetic and had the same sensations before diagnosis.

Hi Dinkie, like the name. Hope all okish with you!

Did you have head, face and legs tingling? It's so awful, I have the tingling all day.

It's very scary and making me very anxious.

I'm having more tests done with Neurology, they have now sent my Scan images to the neurosurgeon, as I have a Disc bulge in my neck. AGhhhhh!!!!! Makes you want to scream all these health issues dosen't it Dinkie.

Hope you have the Dibates under control? Did it take long until you were diagnosed?

Take care and keep warm, Its cold up North Yorkshire!

Peace!

my arms tingle but that’s due to osteoarthritis in my neck, likewise legs down to disc problems in back. I’m riddled with arthritis but the itchy tingling was different and was put down to diabetes. Biofreeze gel helps a bit as does Epsom salt baths.

Hi Dinkie, I too have Osteoarthritis in my back and a dics bulge in my neck.. which is causing a signal change and pressuree in my spinal cord which is quite tight.. Waiting to see a Neurosurgeon to read my recent scans that my Neuroilogist has sent to them to see if they can help in any way. Today my head, face and legs are tingling more. I did some exercise yesterday so maybe that has aggravated things.

GP saying I dont have Diabetes, but I just dont trust them as they all are oppsessed with the wretched NHS Ranges.

I have a shower and not a bath. The Biofreeze gel I will get but, could'nt use it on the head as the tingles are inside.

Thank you and take care 🍁🍁🍁

hi bubbatetley,

I get a lot of tingley feelings in my head, strange symptom of left eye crying for no reason, sinus and TMJ issues too. X-rays showed degenerated discs and arthritis in my neck, neurologist said a lot of people with fibro get these symptoms. He did MRi on my head to see if there was any problem with nerves coming from my brain area and all was normal. So it all came back to my neck.

Doctors did nothing in short, so I go to a chiropractor and have monthly massage then ice and heat packs on my neck and it relieves the symptoms for me. It’s just one of the things I have to manage with this condition. I’ve had numerous blood tests for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus etc and tests all show a very weak positive but rheumatologist said it’s fibro not the other conditions.

Hi Woodystar, Thank you for the reply. Hope youre having a good day, and not in too much discomfort. Do you take any medication ? Our bodies are so complex arn't they.

The tingling sensations are so awful and very scary. The head tingling gets worse when I walk and bend over. Also my legs are tingling too.

I am now being referred to a Neuro surgeon for the disc bulge in my neck to see if they can help .

These tingling sensations are now coming into my face, also I'm finding that all the symptoms get worse when I exercise.

Take care

God Bless

Hi Tommygurl, Thanks for the welcome and replying. I am so pleased for you that ya scan and results did'nt show anything nasty. Did the Doctor give you any medication for the tingling sensations? It's an unbearable and frightning feeling to have. I keep thinking I'm gonna have a stroke. My anxiety hits the roof some days and just begging for it to stop!!!!! Have you been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia ? I expect you have good and bad days like us all with it.

It's very painful and effects so many parts of the body. I've given up going to the GP's as they treat you like you imagine all the symptoms and palm you offf with anti-depressants.

Take care and good chatting
