For past 4 days I have had a sore line down my scalp just like I have hit my head on something. Also I feel like my face has been slapped . All on left side. It even hurts to comb my hair. Starts at crown of head and finished at temple. But face feels sore too.
Any suggestions

I'd suggest seeing your GP just to be on the safe side, but FM throws so many strange symptoms at us. However any new symptoms that you're worried about should be checked out.
Thought it might have been shingles. But no rash. Went to GP this evening. He hasn't a clue. Said he is going to do blood test to check for temporal ateritis ( I think that's what he said). Some days it's just uncomfortable but other days it is quite painful. Can't even brush hair without pain.
Good evening and welcome to the group I wonder if it could be neuralgia I get it sometimes it can be quite painful but tends to settle down on it's own.

The fact that you have been to see doctor fairly quickly was a sensible thing to do , hopefully the bloods get done soon and you get some answers but in meantime take good care of yourself xx
Hi carole. R u on gabapenten? Defo best thing to go to doc in any case. I have a friend who has many underlying health issues and takes this med. He has had problems with his teeth and mouth being sore and think mentioned side of face..think it's one of the side effects. Anyway just thot I'd share.
