I have more quality sleep during the day light hrs and my Hubby has his naps so.......π€
Do I just switch over to night shift? I'm thinking short term until I get some energy back maybe? It's very frustrating, I don't think my animals or neighbours would be too happy when I'm trying to hoover! I think Hubby sleeps deep and well so it wouldn't bother him ?? Or should I ask GP for sleepers until I can get into a better routine?π΄π΄π΄π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί
This is serious stuff I don't want to have to worry about anything else (or I'll loose sleep) π€π€π€

Hi Debsdelight72, I have suffered from chronic insomnia for most of my life. It was so bad that I was getting as little as 2 hours a night. I registered with Sleep Station and they really helped me to reset my circadian clock and develop a strong sleep drive. If your NHS doctor knows you are struggling he may be happy for you to try them. Have a look at their website, it explains what they do. If you are interested Sleep Station will approach your doctor for approval on your behalf.
They may be worth a try. I found them really helpful and I usually sleep through the night now from 10.30pm to 7am. I feel so much better!
I come from Southport but haven't lived there for 20 years. I now live in the rolling hills of North Devon/Exmoor. I have happy memories of riding on Southport beach as a kid, back in the days when the famous racehorse, Red Rum, was trained on the beach. Hence choosing Southport Beach as my user name!
The tide goes out about 2 miles in Southport due to the large tidal range and the very flat beach. As a result you have to really time it well to catch the tide whilst it's in. When the tide is coming in it moves really quickly - as fast as a pony canters - I've proved it!π€ͺ
Good luck sorting your sleep out. It takes hard work but the results are well worth persevering.π
Hi there Debs , itβs a pain when your sleep pattern goes out of sync for sure, I did go threw this until it got me down so I did see my doctor , I was temporarily put on a sedative until I got back into routine, I know what you mean I feel better at night than I do during the day, having said that Iβm more relaxed in the evening Iβm guessing Iβm done for the day and immerse myself in some good drama series on TV. Do you watch much TV at night ?take care wish you luck whatever path you take xx
I do watch tv too muchπ΅βπ« I think it depends on whats on, I'm sure it's because I still live in my bedroom so there's no regular bed routine, I do all my hobbies there too (knitting ,sketching or colouring,) The rest have to wait until my desks are sorted out π It's a bit overwhelming at the moment, I'm working on it,
once the carpets have been cleaned downstairs I will start going down stairs,I've got a rise and recline chair and a huge desk that goes over the whole thing,
A few years back Hubby made sure I had everything before he went shopping, I was trapped in the chair because I didn't have the energy to move it out the wayπ I can laugh about it now but it did give me a scare,(lucky I didn't need the loo πΊ)x
