Change of assessment appointment for DLA to PIP review

Does anybody know if you have an assessment appointment booked for a DLA review and it's not convenient for instance if you will be away abroad on holiday, would you be able to change it? Has anybody else successfully changed a review appointment?

Yes give them a ring . If you have a pre-booked event then you are well within your rights to change an appointment.

They will change it once. If you try to change it a second time, they may close the claim. If you tell them you are going on holiday, beware. They may consider where you are going, how you will travel and the activities you will undertake while away and reach judgements about your ability to undertake the daily living descriptors and your mobility based on that.
