Hi has anyone got or had Spondilolisthesis this pain is so bad I'm waiting on an operation but need to loose weight ( on crutches) so I've no chance can anyone help D

I have that too I get injections in my spine through pain management dr

Really I've asked about them but apparently if I stayed in England I could get them, I'm waiting on the list for pain management do u know what kind if injections it is

Hello, I have just read up on your condition ,so you have my empathy coping every day, very hard trying too lose weight too have an operation, has your doctor /practioner nurse giving you any advice at your surgery with diet or any tips. Xx

No they just said u wasn't big enough to be helped I wasbon my own the operation might not even work anyway

Hi Djemima,I have the same condition in my lower spine, I was told by my neurologists that mine was inoperable due to discs involved being too near to nervous system. I was advised to strengthen my core and keep weight low mmm.

I see an osteopath regularly once a month for just over a year, she keeps me mobile.

I do have spondylosis also and lordosis in my spine.

Try your best as mad as it sounds to keep moving as little as often as you can, try tai chi also my pain management consultant recommended it's gentle 👌 but over time effective. But at the end of the day, you will find a routine for you when you're ready.

Hi I try to get about a little and often as soon as I'm standing for a few minutes the pain starts I just wish I could get some sort of painkillers that help a bit
