Red lumps on hands

Hi,

Since I've started having issues with my joints (had two hip replacements at 25, arthritis in my lower lumbar spine & sacralratic joint etc) I've had these lumps appear for a couple of days (more sometimes) and then they go away for a bit.

They really hurt to touch. They appear over night most of the time. Mostly appear on my finger joints. They seem to be getting bigger everytime they flair up. It seems to come when my pain is worse or sometimes if I've been stressed.

It makes it painful to move my fingers, especially if they are on my joints.

I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday but in my experience I know I'm going to be fobbed off. It's a phone appointment too.....I have sent pictures

Does anyone have any idea what they are?

The picture are the first day and they don't show how red and sore they are so please keep that in mind. More will pop up during the "flair".

P.s they are 1000% not warts.

Hi YoungandpainfulSorry to see you have additional symptoms that are causing you pain. Keep going with the GP. I get your feelings of being fobbed off. We can't help with medical advice but I know how desperate I have felt in my search for answers.

I get blisters and hives when I am stressed. I have an additional genetic autoimmune condition that gets angry. I have food intolerance that change as my stress goes up.I take anti histamines that help.

There are many conditions that might cause your symptoms so keep going with the questions for GP,it can help to rule things out.

While you strive to get an answer it can be helpful to keep a diary of stress, sugar, foods eaten, exercise and relaxation to watch for a pattern.

I never got a full answer in 25 years but have managed to learn to balance my body enough to manage symptoms. I have learned to listen to my body. My hives and blisters are much less frequent.

I hope you find some relief.

Take care

Gigi

I get those on my finger joints. Each one takes weeks/months to clear up. My joint and tendons hurt all the time, even to touch, but are even worse when one of these pops up.
