Morning all.Didnt get any response last time so thought id give it a go again.To anyone that has appealed to tribunal for pip....

How long does the process take from appealing to a hearing or outcome?

Hello, hopefully someone will read your post and reply soon, have you looked back over some of other members posts and read up as I’ve seen members posting how things have turned out for them in the past , just a thought .

Hi sorry you did not get a response. Unfortunately we cannot answer as it varies depending on where you live, how busy they are etc. I know I've heard stories of people waiting a year or more but also others who only waited months

Hi I went to appeal last September and got awarded PIP enhanced Mobility in December. Mine didn’t even have a hearing.

That's great news.Did you have the standard rate before the appeal or nothing?

No I was on enhanced. I sent in a review to say things had changed ( got worse ) I was awarded standard living and was down graded to standard mobility. I went to appeal and my mobility was reinstated to enhanced.

Hello mine took a 15 months from start to finish and I was awarded, good luck

Hi Nahr71I went to appeal, it took about 9 months from start to finish. Mine did not get to the appeal stage as they awarded me standard for both. This was my first application. I got it for 8 years as well.

Good luck hope it goes well. Just don't give up. If you do get it then it will be back dated to when you applied.
