For 2 weeks I have had the dreaded virus. Throat closed etc. I have fibro but I have literally slept non stop. I can't keep my eyes open. But I feel no better for it. I'm totally exhausted. Xx

Feeling dreadful
I’m with you, it lasts about 3 weeks, but the fatigue stays a bit longer than, and the cough, it’s a horrible virus, it hurts everything, and you feel dreadful.
Wishing you better soon.
Hi there, I had it , dam horrid virus and it took its time, one day you feel alittle better ,then next day your back where you started , throat, cold head ,then fatigue, I was glad when it eventually jogged off. Be kind too yourself rest, rest rest till it goes , sending a 🤗 xx
I think this must be what I currently have. I can’t figure out if it’s a cold or the flu or tonsillitis. Everything hurts. Night nurse isn’t even working to help me sleep. I don’t remember the last time I had a cold/flu like this! Xx
First and foremost I feel for you and hope you recover fully and soon.
The governments lack of guidance these last couple of years is appalling. If you go on the NHS website for Covid-19 info or phone 111, you can get latest info.
Certain groups are eligible for antivirals and you could see if tests are available for free.
Have you tested for it yourself? It’s worth keeping two or three in the house so you can check if you suspect and also to check to see it’s gone and you won’t pass it on to others.
Simple things like making sure you keep hydrated, gargling with salt water and sleeping and resting will help. A multivitamin to give you a boost.
Chicken soup is , if you’re not a vegetarian or vegan, is nourishing and good for shaking off colds, so worth a try.
me too. I just woke from a 36h sleep. I feel terrible. I’m sorry you feel crap too
had this just before Christmas which wiped me out over the whole and Christmas and new year and then into January. Still getting over it. Really nasty. Just sleep when you can and lots of fluids.
