My first actual good news for a while!!

The OT came this morning (At last,over a year waiting)

I forgive you Lady😀 I've been accepted to have my bathroom grant thing,

They are putting in a big walk-in shower with a chair so I can just sit down and be able to wash away some stresses, It means I don't have to relay on my Hubby to help me,

I have not been able to wash myself for 2 yrs, So 1 less job for Hubby, It will take up to 9 months because others having it done first, Things are starting to turn around,

To have the front door widened and proper ramp with rail fitted but first my GP is refering me to the wheelchair acessors have to see how much i relay on my power chair, Depending on that will see if we have the ramp etc,

I really thought we wouldn't have been approved because we private rent,

So at least we know we will be living here for a lot longer than thought,

If I could jump for joy,I would, Yaaaa

It is worth it, except mine now needs to be changed to a wet room, I’m not looking forward to that, awaiting ot, but I don’t mean cleaning wise, just blinking builders mess, good luck hun.
