Good Morning Everyone and I hope you are all doing well or ok at least xx

Small query - I for the first time applied for PiPs and was also advised after my assessment to contact the DWP and request a copy of the assessment report. I have now received this and wanted to ask can anyone advise -

Checking PiP score - the back pages are ticked as per each question / response. I then went onto the Citizens Advice Google and checked what had been ticked against their scoring either column 1 / 2 / 3 etc. adding up the points either zero points or 2 points etc.

Is this only a guide or is this correct in informing me of my award prior to getting word from DWP ?

Thank you kindly xx

It's rare for a decision maker to go against points awarded by an assessor. Decision makers normally only change an award if there is a despite and you feel you should have been awarded more points.

Just to add this is the "rule book" that our advisors use that is updated periodically throughout the year.
