Fibro Fatigue

Please tell me how to best manage fibro fatigue? I've woken today almost unable to open my eyes, now I have to look after my 3 boys but I barely have the energy to stand or move. I'm exhausted and can't shift it, could literally fall asleep sat up right now.

You don't say how old your boys are. Can you give them something to occupy themselves such as a lego challenge? Are they able to help in any way like preparing lunch? Is there anyone you could call on to help you - relative / friend? It is so hard when you feel so unwell - sometimes I have to sit down before I fall down and just force myself to do something but then I know it will be worse later on. Luckily, I do have an understanding family. Good luck and just hang on in there! Sending gentle hugs.

Ho, they are 1, 3 and 6 My 6 year old is at school monday-friday until 3 but after is so tough, even yesterday daytime was an immense struggle.

My 3 year is currently being assessed for what we think is ADHD too so is a handful all the time.

Wow you're up against it hun and so young. Be kind to yourself, try not to have too high expectations (so much pressure put on parents these days). Sounds like you could do with some help with your boys to give you a break to rest but I know how impossible and expensive that is. Best thing for fatigue is pacing and rest but with 3 little ones that's impossible. I remember that exhaustion when my kids were young and I was a single parent. My kids kept me going, they need us. Gentle hugs x
