We understand that fibro will be covered on @BBCMorningLive this morning. So tune in. Wonder if it is @DrRanj speaking about it once more as he did a good piece previously.
You will be able to find it on iplayer after it has aired. Will be on BBC1 after 9.15
here is a comment from our fb page "Thought it was a great chat to send to friends and family.. nothing knew for us but helpful explaining and very compassionate.. janette mentioning that her mum has it was good too"
That was more thorough than I expected, although CBT on the NHS I would argue is no longer available and not very effective anyway. I like that she included the bladder as well as headaches and IBS bc as that's always been a problem for me too.
Hi, it was a fantastic piece because it is finally being talked about on tv! So for that I personally am grateful, probably like many of us were. You just know there’s a but coming 🤷♀️I was really hoping for more, I don’t know if that’s just me? I truly feel that especially the way it ended with the conversation that it was still, with many other conditions that there is help out there’ I’m not denying that obviously some people are extremely lucky to have a gp that listens and takes you seriously, we just have an awfully long way to go. Hats off to the programme for actually discussing our chronic pain through and expressing how much we live in pain day to day. It’s such a shame that we are as I’m sure most of us feel the way people with ME did for too long before it was finally recognised as ‘not a lazy person’s condition’ hope you all sleep as much as possible and tomorrow brings a day you can cope with and get through 🥰🤗💕❤️💙💛
Hi Des 👋 and thank you for letting us know about this. I watched it today on BBC iplayer. I wish every GP would be atleast informed about fybro as this doctor. I don't even bother to go to my GP about fybro. They look at me like I fel from another planet and brought some unknown disease to them. Anyway, this doctor said it as it is. All the best.
