Morning lovelies am new here so thought I would say hi. To add to the mix of pain today I bent down as much as possible to put the cats food in her bowl and searing pains shot through my back and in my right hip so guess thats me resting for a while. π

Just another thing!π€£πππ
Hi, oh dear not good! You may want to look at raising their bowl onto a stand so not are far to bend?
I have only been on here a few days now and have found the information and posts of others helping and reassuring that we are not alone!
I am still battling for professionals to confirm what is wrong but yet they all happy to say everything i have all relates to Fibro. Currently with exhaustion and low mood I have been signed off for couple of weeks with more bloods being done etc.
So hello and welcome. Hopefully you are resting and that the heat isnβt getting to you. X
Ouch. I had a similar experience getting my daughter out the bath, itβs frightening how it happens and it takes your breath away doesnβt it.
Try and rest as much as possible. Hope it eases for you soon X
It must be difficult for you and others with children. I donβt have children but have a fur baby - Lola 9month old Labradoodle which is more than enough at times but she is slowly picking up on my days where i cant cope and she will just lay next to me and sleep or try to lick me to death if Iβm crying!
Resting as much as possible but it doesnβt help getting chores etc but at the moment Iβm thinking that the dust will just have to wait! X
Itβs extremely hard I have a teenage son a 9 year old son and a 15 month old daughter. Thatβs exhausting in itself, I just have to prioritise things on a daily basis and just get done the essentials.
If things get tough I always ask for help do you have family/friends that can help you? X
Oh wow yes i can imagine that would be a handful or two! I Fought to have my ovaries removed and after about 20plus years of fighting they finally did it - had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and was in a lot of pains, mood swings and exploding cysts little did i know i would end up in more pain rather than becoming pain free so that gets to me.
I have my husband and he does what he can but works longs hours and sometimes he away too. We live away from family so just me and him hence why i joined here as was feeling extremely lonely and alone. I was working full time but struggled and after meltdown on phone on Monday to a doctor from my surgery he signed me off for now and had more bloods etc. So this is my lifeline as they say. X

Hi GraceM,
Welcome to the family, hope your back isnβt too bad, I agree with peanut585, raise the bowls as cats are very agile you should be able to buy something or improvise, sending best wishes for a speedy back recovery π»πΊππ₯NanaT
