I applied for pips and I was lucky and got it . Now my medication has been changed taken off gabapentin Amitriyline now taking topiramate , duloxetine, quinine, Co-Codamol .Should I let them know and will it affect my PIP snow could they stop me having it I’m really dependent on this money I’m really worried.

Hi there, the simple answer to your question regarding the change in your medication is NO. How your GP deals with your health problems is between you and your doctor.
You only need to let them know if your illnesses improve or get worse.
I think you should be OK, your medication may of changed but if your ability to do day to day tasks are the same then it shouldn't affect your intitemement.My understanding is if the changed of medication improves your condition then you do have to notify them of your improved mobility, like wise if your condition degrades. Then they will assess your claim again.
I found them awful to deal with they leave you feeling like its your fault and you have to justify your illness.
Hi, it's just your meds that have changed and for most of us this happens, as long as your needs haven't changed then you don't need to tell them as it's your care/ mobility needs they are intrested in.So try not to worry xxx
